THE CONFERENCE “MEETING OF JAPAN – KHANH HOA 2017”

During the conference “Meeting of Japan – Southern Central Region 2017”, on October 07, Khanh Hoa province organized a field trip for Japanese partcipants to visit the south of Van Phong Economic Zone. The aim of the trip is to introduce the strengths and potential of Van Phong Economic Zone as well as the strengths, industry orientation of Bac Van Phong special administrative – economic zone. At the field study, Mr. Hoang Dinh Phi- the chairman of The management board of Van Phong Economic Zone introduced some large projects that are located in the south area including: Nam Van Phong general port (30,000- 70,000 DWT), Ninh Thuy industrial zone, Van Phong 01 Thermal Power Plant, Nam Van Phong Petrochemical Complexes, Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal… Besides that, he hoped that Japanese investors would study the opportunities to invest and execute the projects in the economic zone, especially in the area of Doc Da Trang.

At 10:00 am (October 07, 2017), the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee celebrated the conference “Meeting of Japan – Khanh Hoa 2017” with the objective of spreading and promoting widely the strengths and potential of Khanh Hoa province’s tourism and industrial development. Mr. Le Duc Vinh – Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee stated that in the Southern Central region, Khanh Hoa province has lots of advantages about natural resources, climate, seas and islands with a diverse and rich ecosystem. Khanh Hoa takes an important strategic position in developing the economy of the southern central region as well as Vietnam in general. Therefore, with the support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local authorities would like to propose policies that impulse the process of international integration; reinforce the effective and practical cooperation with key partners including Japan. The success of the local foreign affairs brings a great significance to the general success of the national foreign affairs.

In order to promote the economic development cooperation with Japan in the near future, Mr. Le Duc Vinh – Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee commited that a public and transparent environment was created and operated in accordance with the laws. Furthermore, lots of most attracting conditions and preferential policies are created for the current and potential Japanese investors as investing into Khanh Hoa province. The provincial authorities will accompany businesses to share and catch up their thought and aspirations in order to provide the best support to their production and business activities.
